AM Strength Lab

Consistency is Key.

Completely online, always on-demand—your strength, your schedule, your way.

I have been coaching ‘AM Strength Lab’ on Zoom since January 2018. Our program remains steadfast, characterized by a unique blend of metabolic resistance training, strength building, and core conditioning. This fusion creates an intense workout that effectively targets both cardiovascular fitness and strength development.

Each week, participants engage in all seven foundational functional training movements: rotation, lunges, squats, pushes, pulls, lifts, and carries. This holistic approach ensures that individuals engage multiple muscle groups, improving overall physical performance. The design of AM Strength Lab maximizes the body’s energy systems by incorporating a strategic mix of anaerobic and aerobic exercises. Consequently, participants experience calorie burning not only during the workout but also in the hours following, leading to an extended period of caloric expenditure.

From my experience, the key to successful outcomes lies in the commitment to early morning workouts and the principle of consistency. Incorporating AM Strength Lab into a morning routine can lead to significant and tangible results. Embracing this early start can serve as a powerful catalyst for personal transformation, making fitness an integral part of one’s lifestyle.

More about AM Strength Lab

AM Strength Lab is designed to effectively challenge both the aerobic and anaerobic systems, creating a demanding, yet rewarding, workout experience. Participants can expect to burn fat, increase endurance, and build muscular strength. However, this level of intensity requires a significant expenditure of energy, which can lead to feelings of exhaustion. For some individuals, this may serve as a demotivational factor that impacts performance and progress.

Given the demanding nature of these workouts, the risk of injury is elevated. Therefore, a key focus of AM Strength Lab is maintaining proper form and function throughout the session. It is imperative to prioritize form until fatigue or failyre sets in, as this mitigates the risk of injury and promotes safer training practices.

This program is tailored specifically for intermediate to advanced fitness enthusiasts. It is essential for participants to possess a foundational knowledge of strength training before engaging in the class. Regardless of fitness level, the potential for injury exists, making it critical to incorporate mobility and flexibility training alongside strength workouts. Additionally, nutrition, mindfulness, and recovery strategies are fundamental components of the program, addressing the need for overtraining prevention.

To facilitate recovery, participants will receive a flexible schedule of mobility and flexibility activities each week. Regular check-ins regarding energy levels will help guide the adjustments of workout volumes and intensities. If necessary, modifications can be made to decrease the intensity or volume, allowing individuals to gradually build up to higher levels of challenge. Adjustments may also include altering rest periods and repetition totals.

Ultimately, the goal of AM Strength Lab is to ensure that participants complete their workouts feeling accomplished rather than depleted. By striking a balance between challenge and recovery, the program is structured to foster sustainable fitness progress.
